Your first step is an assessment with your personal trainer. This will include a physical measurement of body fat, weight, measurements, and a thorough evaluation of your goals.
A proper assessment is essential to the personal training process. Any personal trainer
who doesn't offer an assessment is somebody you want to run from, not hire! Without
havinga good idea about how your body functions, and your personal goals, there
is no way a trainer can design a specific program catered to the needs as a client.
You want the best results, right?
Your assessment is one of the most important tools in designing your fitness and
nutritional program. A typical training session is a half hour long, but this will depend
on your program and your goals.
